Not Top 5. Nor even Top 10.

(Remember that I'm heavily biased when I say this)

I would put him below Champ, Harris, clements, McCallister, springs, and Ike Taylor and he tied with Dre Bly

Dre Bly sucks.

J Kim - DeAngelo Hall would not be in your top 10 would he?

Ike Taylor wasn't he almost benched last year?

Why do you hate Dre Bly...is it because he used to terrorize the Bears QB's

Antoine Winfield is better as well and Kelly Herndon

DeAngelo "Dr Jekyll" Hall? Or DeAngelo "Mr. Hyde" Hall?

So if Kelly Herndon is better than Charles Tillman, and you have Charles Tillman in your top-10 (by the amount of names you list), does that mean Nick Harper, Cortland Finnegan, Michael Griffin and Reynaldo Hill are automatically in your top-10 as well?

Good point but after further review and going through all the rosters Tillman is not even in my top 15...ive got him between 17-20.

Both are better than Tillman.

Definitely.

But the question of whether he's top-10 was posed...
Good DeAngelo is top-5 IMO, Bad DeAngelo is not.

Guys better than Tillman, in no real order:
Champ Bailey
Rashean Mathis
Chris McAllister
Ronde Barber
Antoine Winfield
Nate Clements
Al Harris
Nathan Vasher
Leigh Bodden, when healthy
Asante Samuel
Terrence Newman, when healthy
Deangelo Hall, when his head escapes his rectum
Nnamde Asomugha
Dre Bly, on body of work
Shawn Springs, maybe not anymore
Brian Kelly, maybe not anymore
Kelly Herndon
Dunta Robinson, better CB but inferior playmaker

I think a lot of Bears and their fans like to conveniently ignore the fact Peanut was one of the very worst CBs in the league just 2 seasons ago. Part of that was he often moved inside on the slot in 3WR sets and got repeatedly torched, but since Ricky Manning Jr. (the best slot nickel guy in the business) took that role it really helped Tillman's confidence and overall ability.

I have to agree with Roy Williams, and I'm a Bears fan. I've found Tillman overrated and overused for awhile now.

I thought this guy was overrated as well, keyword, thought. This guy has been really, really good for us this season.

Anyways, where do people think Nathan Vasher ranks? I feel he's the better corner between the two.

Based on his play this year, Shawn Springs is still one of the better shutdown corners in the league. Hes just a pinky touch away from an injury :-?

He isn't top 5 in the NFC.. Newman, Harris, Woodson, Barber, Clements are all pretty easily better than him

I love my packers for having two better CBs than him. I remember when Al Harris was crap and Ahman Green was a beast. How times change.
