Looks very photoshopped, and as always PFFFFFFFFFT trying to generate some hits on their site. If you take a look around the neck area, the image of the collar is very blurred, and very inconsistent, in terms of quality, with the rest of Shawne Merriman's head.
As well, if you take a look on the right shoulder (His left) you can see the Chargers logo Overlapping, what seems to be where the number would be.
A Shoulder logo shouldn't overlap a number like that. At all.

Is it just me or does he also look blacker in the 2005 one?
I guess roids make you blacker too.
Also, he doesnt have that neck tattoo in the first one. Photoshaaped.

J. Kim is right the 2005 pic is fake as hell. PFT trying to stir **** up. The funny thing is PFT busted themselves on there own wanna be story. Look at these pictures:
Look at the collars. The original collar on the jersies is a solid dark blue. Merrimans is blurry light version. Even the trimming around the collar is terrible and you can easily see that its photoshopped.

It was doctored, but if you read PFT right now you will get the explanation why it was doctored, and it isn't quite as scandalous as you are all making it out to be.

I dont know if the pic is doctored or not, but when I saw a interview with Merriman this year. I did realized he looked different. I couldn't tell what it was, I thought he had just gotten a haircut or something
