I tell you the Jets get no respect.

The Dolphins are a bad team, but they're not a historically bad team like their record has led people to believe. They've just had some tough luck combine with their poor play--I mean, how many 3-point losses can you pile up before you finally pull a game out? It's pretty reasonable to make them 1.5-point favorites at home against another bad team.

Football Outsiders actually has the Dolphins higher than the Jets in their DVOA rankings... you can take that for what it's worth.

I'm not real surprised either. Well, actually the injuries to their RBs make it a little surprising. They do have a fairly decent OL and I like some of the things Beck has shown. And to determine odds, the home team always gets 2.5-3 points.

The talent at WR in this game is freaking embarrasing for the NFL.

The Dolphins are going to win, Beck is starting to look better(and the Jets secondary is pretty bad right now), they have a decent running game. The defense is better than it been playing.

The Jets are tremendously underachieving right now and I really see the Dolphins winning this in a low scoring game.

Whats wrong with Cotchery and Coles?

How was Cotchery a flash in the pan? He is still a top twenty receiver in this league. He has 54 catches and 730 yards on the season thus far, not bad considering the QB play. Coles entering into this season never missed a game in his career its his first time dealing with injuries. Your going to call him injury prone off one season? He was dealt a concussion which caused him to miss a game. He has played nine games this year, far from never being able to stay healthy.

Plus on top of that all of the games Clemens has started we have faced elite defensive teams, let see what our WR's can do against the Dolphins this week.

Coles is almost certainly not going to play, so rule him out of my statement.

Cotchery is a quality #2 WR and a pretty good YAC guy. Nobody else taking the field tonight would be active on a good team, save Ginn in a PR/KR capacity and perhaps as a #4.

Why should the jets get any respect. Because they some how beat Pittsburgh.

And now it appears Cotchery won't be playing either. Makes it real hard to properly evaluate the potential of the young QBs when they have absolute garbage to throw to.

And what has Miami done to get any respect?

Last time I checked they're winless

Yeah I kinda feel for Clemens, but hopefully Baker can have a good game.

Good call on that. Baker is a lot better than most people think he is IMO.

So what? They have had about 7 close games three points or less agianist some pretty good teams. Thats why Miami should be favored plus they are playing at home which is an automated three points.

Actually Clemens has had a connection with Brad Smith, should be an interesting thing to watch between them. Justin will finally get a chance to prove that he is a legit NFL player, this will be his last game starting probably since he is a goner. Wallace Wright will probably see some time as well...

Here's been our results so far:
1)vs. NE - loss 38-14 = We got outdone by the Patriots, no questions asked.

2)@ Bal - loss 20-13 = Was a good 4th quarter for Clemens, and nearly came back, if Justin just didn't drop those balls.

3)vs. Mia - win 31-28 = Scoreline doesn't say the whole story, Jets played well except the last 2-4 minutes when Dolphins turned it up.

4)@ Buf - loss 17-14 = Could've tied it after a good drive from Pennington, but threw a pick.

5)@ Giants - loss 35-24 = See Buffalo, but instead of jut a pick, it was returned as well

6)vs. Phi - loss 16-9 = Could've easily won the game, but bad play calling at the final minute caused the Jets to lose the ball at the 4 yard line. (I mean who calls a shotgun pass play at 4th & 1 when TJ ran 130 yards?!)

7)@ Cin - loss 38-31 = See Giants. But this time the D alo played horrific in the 4th, no excuse for the atrocious 4th quarter display.

8)vs. Buf - loss 13-3 = No excues, we played horrible, we couldn't get anything on offense but our D played decent.

9)vs. Washington - loss 23-20 = OT field goal. Portis bruned us but we still played pretty well.

10) BYE

11)vs. Pit - win 19-16

12)@Dal - loss 34-3 = See NE, we just jut got completely owned.

So as you can see we too had some close games besides the NE, 2nd Buffalo and Dallas game, so what's your point?

id say you made tony romo look pretty average on thanksgiving (though the score may not indicate that) but it was one of lesser games of the season

that said i felt like picking the dolphins to pull off the upset, maybe they'll be fired up to play a team they think they can beat.

I thought that Romo had a decent game as well, Owens was slowed down, I thought we did pretty well against the Boys. But we just couldn't do anything with the ball, there was pressure ALL OVER THE PLACE, we couldn't do squat.
