MVP of Week 13

Post#1 » by J.Kim » Tue Dec 4, 2007 4:58 am

I know, I know. I haven't updated the results from Week 11 and 12 yet. But they're coming. Definitely by next week, or your money back. I just have a very full week ahead of me, with my Distance Education course exam coming up.

Anyway, get to voting.

I also nominate Rick Romo since he played a great game on Thursday. Bryant Gumbel agrees.

1. LaDainian Tomlinson
2. Lofa Tatupu
3. Brian Westbrook - 139 yards from scrimmage to go along with his 64 yard punt return, that would have been a season saving play if AJ Feeley wasn't such a scrub. The Eagles are basically a 1 man team.

yea westbrook is probably my favorite non cowboy, i think he's way underrated around the league but he is the eagles offense

Yeah, he's having a great season, leads the league in yards from scrimmage and yards per game. If he didn't miss a game and a half earlier this year he'd probably be on pace to have one of the highest yards from scrimmage seasons in history. But it's not only that, he's a terrific blocker, can return punts(like he proved yesterday), comes through in the clutch, and half the time plays without even being able to practice during the week.

It's too bad the Eagles are having such a bad season as a team, or maybe he'd be getting the recognition he deserves among the best players in the NFL. I was whining on this board before the season that Peter King had him ranked 96th on his top 500 players list, and got criticized for my whining too

1. Lofa Tatupu
2. Luke McCown
3. Adrian Peterson

He doesn't merit week MVP honors, but Cedric Griffin of the Vikings was absolutely outstanding against the Lions. Ditto Braylon Edwards against the Cards, even though he nearly got thrown out of the game for wearing the wrong color shoes.
