Bolts at Pats - Round 2 - Who you got?

I know a lot has to happen for this game to happen, but right now, it looks like these teams are on track to meet in Foxborough, Round 2.

SD will be #4, NE #1.

SD would have to beet Jacksonville in the Wild Card round, but supposing they do:

Do the Bolts have any chance at all to beat the Pats? How ironic would it be if the Chargers beat NE (in their house), just like the Pats beat the Chargers to ruin their dream season.

I say, because of NE's aging and beaten down defense, LT has a chance to run them down, and control the clock. I say it's possible. Here's hoping

I vote for "What're you smoking?".

No one is going to care about this rematch. The rematches that people want to happen are NE/Indy and/or NE/Dallas.

not going to happen. Rivers isn't a good enough QB to do that and LT hasn't been the LT of last year.

Come the end of the year I probably wouldn't even take them to beat the Jaguars, so that's a definite no on beating the Patriots.

San Diego doesn't have a shot against Jacksonville.

You can quote me on that.

You're right. We should only discuss meaningful and philisophical topics on this internet message board. What was I thinking?

Dude, take a chill pill and relax. I realize you name yourself after a God, but try and lighten up.

Bolts will not get out of the first round. Jax wil be a tougher math-up than SD to the pats any day, they still wont beat em.

Personally, I'd hate it if this matchup (Chargers-Pats) happens.
You'd get so much whining from the Chargers before, during and after the game, that you'd think it was the local peewee team playing against the Patriots.

Extreme Homerism aside, I wish I could see the Titans against the Pats. Apparently, the Titans are now the dirtiest team in the league. I'd like to see how a team that likes to take cheap shots like the Titans fares against the Patriots Offense.

Chargers would get their asses handed to them by the Jaguars again cause Rivers is not very good.

I would be shocked if the Bolts beat the Jags.

If the Browns beat the Steelers (assuming they can make the play-offs) I would love to see a Pats/Browns match-up, the scores would be at least in the 30's.

Alright, let's play devil's advocate and pretend that somehow, San Diego beats the Jags. There are going to go from Sunny Sandy Eggo to the frigid tundra of Gillette Stadium, in January, snow is a possibility, and the Patriots will have had it on Easy Street the entire week the Bolts were prepping to have their heads beaten in by the Jaguars. So if they do escape, they will be facing a well rested team, looking at history, and a chip on their shoulder still from the smack talking after the playoffs last year. Not to mention the Bolts might be without Merriman, depending on the severity of his knee injury.

So my answer is none of the above because I don't want whatever you're smoking because that ****'s going to take you to another dimension. mahalo

"What are you smoking?" Bolts have no chance in hell of beating the Pats in New England in the cold. Phillip Rivers sucks, Merriman could be out for the year, and all LT does anymore is complain about other teams. Pats win by three TD's

And really... would any of you trust Norv Turner with your lives?

I wouldn't.

Nor should you trust him in an away playoff game against, what just might be (still), the best team of the past decade.

before wk 2, LT said the chargers could beat the pats 9 out of 10 times
after getting his ass handed to him, he said he was joking.

that doesn't cut it.
the pats will LT their bitch one more time.

LT the best player in the league? please.

put up or shup time bitches. end of story.
