Will Michael Vick ever play in the NFL again?

I know it sounds absurd, but stop and think for a second.
The earliest he can be released from jail is June 2009, which means he'll miss all of the 2008 season in addition to having missed all of the 2007 season. When he gets out, he'll still be on indefinite suspension from the NFL. Who knows, Goodell might suspend him for life, but even if he doesn't, he'll probably be suspended for at least another year after he gets out of prison.
All of that means he'll likely miss all of the 2007, 08, and 09 seasons. Even in the best case scenario the earliest he can join a team is June 09. When (if) he comes back, likely in the summer of 2010 or later, would anyone take him? A 30+ y/o QB who was never that accurate to begin with, who hasn't played professional football in 3 years, and who carries a massive, undeniably negative image that will NEVER leave him.
On the flip side, QB is the hardest position to fill and Vick is one of the most explosive players in the game, as well as a multiple time Pro Bowler. The draw of adding a Pro Bowl QB for nothing might just be too tempting for a down-and-out team to resist.
I know people say talent always finds a home, but could Vick be an exception?

He will probably come back as a WR and maybe work his way to a slot guy if he's dedicated to it. He will still be a great Athlete when he gets out, but his QB days are over imo.

If Mike Furrey can do it, why not Vick?

He'll still be Falcons property when he gets out of jail.

I really want to answer "Never!", but the sad truth is that some desperate team will probably take a chance on him. I do agree that it's as likely to be as a WR or RB or KR than as a QB. He's got a very similar skill set to Josh Cribbs, who has made that transition quite well.
The Falcons are going to waive him once all the salary cap ties are resolved, which I believe will be next July.

You really think he'll be given a chance by some team?
We don't even know what the Commissioner is going to do to Vick yet. And presumably, his suspension is going to be, at the very least, for a season right after his jail sentence is up. And knowing (well... as much as I know from articles and various media outlets) Discipline Daddy Goodell, he's going to be handing down a 2-year sentence, minimum, not only for the Animal abuse charges, but also because of testing positive for marijuana, and lying to Goodell's face.
IMO, best case scenario for him is ending up in AFL2 or something like that. And that's if he somehow is able to keep up strength and conditioning in prison.

I can't see Vick as an Wr, does he even have the body to be it. I mean can he even take hits?

6'0, 215 isnt bad
Reggie Wayne is listed at 6'0 198
Chad Johnson 6'1 192 (that seems a little low to me maybe hes listed at less than he is)
Torry Holt 6'0 190
Galloway 5'11 197
Welker 5'9 185
Driver 6'0 190
(I just picked guys near the top of the yards list since it was easier and thats a good enough sample)

Vick doesn't look that big to me maybe its just me, but he looks like he can't go across the middle and take a a hit.

I think you're letting the QB thing influence how you view him too much. When you think of a QB you never really think he could cut across the middle and get hit, but if a guys the same size but he hasnt been a QB you dont think twice about it.
Another thing in his favor as far as taking hits is how he played QB. He did a lot of running (and wasnt a slider) so obviously he didnt have problems getting hit.

2010? Isn't that just about when Oakland fans are going to start calling for a replacement for Jamarcus Russell? Doesn't he play for a team that has a reputation for giving other people's rejects second chances?

it will depend on how well or if he even wants to be a wr or something
because its going to be tough for him to be a qb again
