It sucks that Manning will beat it in 5-6 years barring injuries. Unless Brett has another 2-3 seasons like this one lol.

Manning has 40,000. Favre has 61,000 right now.

21,000/5= 4,200 yards a season. Manning can easily get that in the next 5 years. But if Favre has another 4,000 yard season or two it could take him 7-8 years.

Nope, Manning has played every game since 1998 which is 158 games in-a-row.

Brett's 16 fumbles away from setting that career record, too. If he doesn't pick up the pace, he needs to play two more years.

Well in the last few years, brett has overtaken every one of Marino's records. Peyton will do it sooner or later but for now Brett is the best statistical QB of all time. I have him number 1 all time at quarterback.

You don't know if his assessment of GOAT is predicated upon the statistics. Those seem like separate statements.

It isn't because of the stats. I have had him at number 1 for a long time. The stats are just gravy.

Favre is the greatest football player ever and greatest there will ever be.
No one plays the game with more passion and intensity and makes it so joyful to watch.
The guy is #1 as a QB and #1 as a football player, no one is tougher and no one will ever be in the ranks of #4 as far as being an all around player.
