Player contract length

Post#1 » by Welfare Fraud » Wed Dec 19, 2007 8:23 pm

I know you can see player salaries on usatoday.com, but it doesn't show the length of contracts. Are there any sites that do? I'll give you a cookie if you find one.

http://www.footballoutsiders.com/links.php

Scroll down to "UN-OFFICIAL SPECIFIC TEAM SALARY CAP PAGES"

It's not a comprehensive list of teams, but it's a start.

just a quick question, how come its so hard to find salary info on nfl players unlike the nba?
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

Rotoworld has the contracts listed for specific players. Just search for the player in question and click on contract details.

More complicated. NFL contracts have so many bonuses its a joke. NBA is guaranteed money, "x guy signs for $30 million." Boom you know. In the NFL, "x guy signs for $70 million including $15 million in guaranteed money, $6 million as a signing bonus, $6 million as a roster bonus due in march 2009, $1.5 million if he weighs 275 pounds going into camp." Things like that.
