What ESPN Hasn't Shown You

Post#1 » by SpeedyG » Fri Dec 21, 2007 6:12 pm

If this has been posted already, my apologies. One thing that we usually notice in Jacksonville is the lack of Jaguar highlights in ESPN shows (Sportscenter, etc..). It seems like they show a couple of clips from the games, say a line or two and then move on to the next game. With Fred Taylor looking like he'll make the Pro-Bowl this year due to the unfortunate injury to Willie Parker, thought I'd share a highlight that was posted in youtube of Fred's best runs THIS year.

Take a look at what you've missed from one of the most underrated back possibly in the history of the NFL.

Hey, at least he's finally going to the Pro Bowl! Justice has been served, I feel bad for Parker though, injuries are never a good sight.

Ya, it is really a shame that Fred Taylor has probably had a HOF career, and the first time he goes to the Probowl it's going to be as an injury reserve.

Well to be fair, ESPN is in the business of just showing who they feel are the top tier teams. That's why the Pats, 'Boys, etc. are shoved down our throat. Before AD blew-up, the Vikings got absolutely NO love from the MSM. All people remembered was the loveboat. And even if we were as good as we are now, we still probably wouldn't get as much attention if AD wasn't on the team.

I'm praying to god that this is sarcasm, but I really don't know.

It is, I was hoping I wouldn't need the green for everyone to get it.
