So every website claims that Fred Taylor is no longer "the best player to never have made a Pro Bowl."
My question is, who takes over the reigns of such a prestigious title?

It goes back to Ken Riley.

I admit, I had to look up Ken Riley. I see that he didn't make any Pro Bowls or all-star teams, but they do note he was an AllPro 4 times and was 4th in career interceptions when he retired, so those are some pretty good qualifications.
From some of the quotes I've read, seems like if he had been a loud mouthed obnoxious jerk he would have garned himself some more attention, but it looks as if he was a pretty humble decent guy.

He was asked to be an injury replacement about 5 hours before the actual Pro Bowl... considering it takes about that time to just fly to Hawaii... not really doing the guy proper.
