Gonna be a great game to watch. But it all depends on Rivers and the SD O-Line. If they performed like he did today. I think they might pull it off

They have less of a chance as the Jags. And the Jags had a chance, so take that for what it's worth.

I think the Patriots will win by 2 scores or more. Hopefully the Chargers prove me wrong again!

The playoffs stink now. If Indy won and Dallas won, then both matchups would have been really good. Only the NY/GB game is halfway decent.

Yawn. What's so different? Chambers? Blah. He's nothing special. The Pats are better now too considering they have Harrison and Seymour back on defense.

only 1 thing will get the chargers a win. patriot mistakes.
turn the ball over. fumbles. interceptions etc. and chargers win.
there is no defense that can actually stop the patriots from scoring. slow them down, yes. but stop, no.
the chargers MUST score. and create mistakes.
defensively, the patriots generally lock down deep. or lock down under.
if the patriots lock down deep, meaning, play back and keep everything in front of them. LT should have a big day. similar to a day that marshall faulk had against a similar patriots gameplan in the superbowl a few years back. and as LT did last year in the playoffs. if they lock down under, big plays over the top can happen.
i hope its a chess match with it being a good game.
but as of right now, the patriots are playing at a very very high level. doubtful the chargers can keep pace. possible. but very doubtful.

If Rivers continues to take what the defense gives him the Bolts have a shot. The Pats one weakness is the secondary but I don't see anybody outscoring Brady and Co.
Pats win 42-28

Not really the entire secondary, just Gay. The secondary should look alot better this game since Hobbs is returning. (I think?)
The Patriots should have this game.

Hobbs will play. I'm pretty sure he wasn't hurt last week, it was just that BB liked Gay more on the taller Jags receivers.

As a chargers fan, the temp. is fine, but i would LOVE 80 mph winds with a helluva lot a snow.
That way, Tom cant do **** and LT can do anything he wants.
The Weather can always change though...I definetly want the chargers to win, but honestly i have to say 27-23 Pats.
GOO CHARGERSS.

If the game is tied or the Pats are ahead by the end of the first, the game is over. I think with the emotional victory in Indy and the anger from Week 2 and last year's playoffs will amp up the Chargers beyond human comprehension. If they stand any chance of winning, they need to take ahold of the game early on because as the game continues on, I don't like San Diego's chances. There will be the inevitable "coming down to earth" period, you have a Chargers team that did not get the luxury of a bye week and who got their heads beaten in by Indy going against a relatively well rested New England team and the game will be near Boston, meaning it will be cold in front of Pats fans. Unless the Chargers get out early, I can't see them ever being in a position to fend off an offensive onslaught. Game is close until the fourth and the Pats will probably end up putting 40 on the board at the end of the game. mahalo

And as a Pats fan I'd prefer perfect weather and both teams at full strength. I don't want any BS like if the Pats lose "Well it's because it was windy," or if SD loses "Well LT and Rivers weren't at full strength." The game is what it is and I hate injuries and weather used as excuses to belittle the accomplishment of any team, not just the ones I'm a fan of.

well, i think it's going to be a much tougher game than many predict or think.
of course many say that the jaguars had better chances, but the chargers are on a roll and are high on confidence and motivation and will surely give the pats a tough time.
they seem (and maybe) are perfect, but there's nothing sure and anything can happen.
GOOOOOO CHAAARGEEEERRSSSSS!!!!!

I think the Chargers much like the Jags put up a great effort in the first half. Then the Pats pull away and win by about 10 or so points.
Pats 38 Chargers 28.
