Post#1 » by Da Schwab » Sat Jan 19, 2008 2:00 am

I don't know why something like this hasn't been started yet on the Gen. NFL Board, so here it is.

- The Ravens hire John Harbaugh (brother of Stanford coach, Jim) as their new head coach: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3203489

- Monte Kiffin gets an extension with the Bucs: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/wire?section=nfl&id=3203235

- And, Bill Callahan is back in the NFL as the new assisstant HC for the Jets: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/wire?section=nfl&id=3203527

Green Bay Packers Coach Mike McCarthy has agreed to a new five-year contract worth about $4 million per season but will wait until after this weekend to sign it, according to an NFL source familiar with the negotiations.

Do the jets just want to fail? Its like theyre not even trying to improve anymore.
Though maybe they brought in Callahan for his motivational speeches to the players.
