Not sure if it made a difference in the game or not...but the fire storm created should provide some entertainment.

This isn't exactly shocking. I think when spygate first happened most people gathered they had been cheating for years.

Yeah, not so fast:

"The Patriots worked on special teams, red zone, short-yardage, and goal-line situations amid a security scare that developed midway through the practice. According to the pool report, inside linebackers coach Pepper Johnson got the attention of team official Berj Najarian and pointed to an open window on the third floor of a nearby brown Colonial, one of five houses just to the west of the field. These houses had concerned the Patriots when they first saw the practice field on Tuesday, but through the first few days of practice, those fears were quelled. A telescope was clearly visible in the window. According to the pool report, 15 minutes later a person appeared at the window, then vanished. League and team officials watched the house with binoculars as the Patriots continued practice, and no one appeared at the window for the session's remaining 45 minutes." -Nick Carfado, Boston Globe, 2/2/02

Probalby not...but they were dumb enough to get caught with a video camera

Even if they defeat New York tomorrow, the * still remains and I know I'm not the only one.

You also wouldn't be the only one if you thought Santa Claus was real.

And how in the **** does any of this affect 2007, regardless?????

ANSWER: IT DOESN'T.

Freaking losers.
Not haters. I respect haters.
You people are straight up losers.

Oh please

If this were the Colts or the Yankees, you would be bitching and moaning until the cows come home.

You know...just like how Red Sox fans tried to buy everyone into the fact that they're lovable underdogs and the Yankees are the evil empire? When, in reality, they're one in the same? If not, worse?

The Patriots were caught blatantly cheating. End of story. Are they the only ones? Probalby not...nowadays it seems everyone cheats in sports. I know there are some who believe David Ortiz is on the juice, especially after doing jack in Minnesota. But it's just speculation. The Patriots were caught red handed and it's not like people haven't questioned them before. I like Brady(I watched him throughout college) and don't honestly believe you can go 18-0 via cheating and nothing else. But I'm calling a spade, a spade

You can spew terms like "haters" "sore losers" or any other adjective you found in one of Bill Simmons columns, but the * still remains and I'm not the only loser who is going to feel that way.

Sorry, Mr. Wiggles

You have no ****ing clue what you're talking about re: Papi. Oh wait, "there are some who believe", oh right. Yeah, well, there are "some who believe" that your great-grandmother was a tranny. (It's not a violation of the ToS, it's journalism! I don't need evidence!) There is also absolutely zero evidence that the Pats broke a single rule beyond the 1st half of the first game of the season -- even then, the rule they broke was a technicality, because stealing signals itself is not cheating, not even taping signals itself is cheating. But you don't want to hear that, you don't want to think about reality, you'd rather get drunk off fermented sour grapes. I think Wes Welker said it best: "You ****ing suck!"

maybe everyone cheats
only the patriots are horrible at concealing it

Hey, here's a fun little game, it's called Pin the Blatant Lie on Easterbrook:

Also Saturday, Mike Fish reported on ESPN that St. Louis' walk-through was devoted to red-zone plays -- all new plays and new formations the Rams had not shown during the season. Going into that Super Bowl, the Rams' "Greatest Show on Turf" was the league's highest-scoring team. In that game, St. Louis was held to a field goal in the first half. When the Rams reached the red zone, they bogged down, as if New England knew what plays were coming. If the Patriots secretly taped the Rams' walk-through, then stopped the red-zone plays the Rams showed in that walk-through, then won that Super Bowl by three points, then logic says New England materially benefited from cheating in the Super Bowl. If true, this would be the worst sports scandal since the Black Sox.

I think the mods will see your post and realize it was an accident.
Although I've definitely pushed the ToS envelope, so...
