A local radio station (1010xl) is reporting that Greg Williams has joined the Jags coaching staff as the defensive coordinator/assistant coach. FANTASTIC signing in my opinion, hopefully he will get the Jags defense back on track.

Great hire, I heard here on 1050 ESPN Radio in NYC, which is the local affiliate of ESPN Radio. I think Williams will do wonders with Henderson and Stroud. I think this is also great for the development of Reggie Nelson.

I know there's still the Draft and free agency to come but the Jags are my early pick to go the Super Bowl next year...and I thought that before this Williams signing. They had some injuries to key guys this year, if they're healthy watch out.

Thats going to be the most talented roster hes ever worked with. He did wonders for the Skins by taking average to mediocre talent and it making it look good (Reed Doughty, Ryan Clark, Walt Harris, Lemar Marshall, Anthony Montgomery etc etc).
Thats probably his best attribute. He brings the most out of his players. Man what a **** up by the Skins by letting him go. I'll be rooting for him in the JAX.

the weakness of the jags ive always thought was the pass rush (one of the reasons that tom brady picked them apart) hopefully williams can mold a guy into a sackmaster in jacksonville

They still need another receiver though. But obviously he didn't want to go to a 3-4 in Dallas.
