MNF Drop Suzy Kolber and Michelle Tafoya

Post#1 » by magicfan4life05 » Sun Feb 10, 2008 9:26 pm

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk is reporting that ESPN Monday Night Football sideline reporters Suzy Kolber and Michelle Tafoya will not return to MNF in 2008.

Kolber has been ESPN's NFL sideline reporter for several years, dating back to before ESPN had Monday Night Football. She is the last holdover from ESPN's Sunday night team, which featured Kolber on the sidelines and Mike Patrick, Paul MaGuire and Joe Theismann in the booth.

Tafoya was the Monday Night Football sideline reporter when the franchise was on ABC. When MNF moved to ESPN two years ago, Tafoya moved with it.

Pennington is not a thrower, he's a passer.

I'm all for the elimination of sideline reporting. But Suzy Kolber knows her football and deserves to be heard somewhere. Plus she's kinda cute.

I'm still anxiously hoping Pam Oliver gets canned and needs to do a Playboy shoot for $$...

Pam Oliver is the nasty. Playboy would lose its subscribers.

^Is that a joke? Shes damn fine.

On topic: Thank you! But I agree with Iceness, Kolber should be heard somewhere as she is knowledgeable...ESPNNEWS sounds right.

EDIT: Pam Oliver: She has her good days and her bad days...

I'm sure Suzy would get scooped up by CBS because she seems to fit their type of personality (but then again she's probably still with ESPN because I think she's the host of their nascar stuff).

Now all MNF needs to do is bring back Lisa Guerrero and all will be well with the world.

Haha, remember when KeyShawn told Pam Oliver he was going to put her over his knee and give her a spanking? LOL
