Sean Salisbury is horrible. And I wanted to jump through the screen when he called John Clayton the cryptkeeper. He is horrible.

They hired Cris Carter so that's a major upgrade.

Now they need to let go of Emmit "Word" Smith and ESPN would be on it's way.

I'm glad Salisbury is gone.

I couldn't stand Salisbury either. He was a terrible analyst (no surprise there, it is ESPN) and he always came across as a high and mighty tough guy. It was hard for me to take him seriously a lot of the time.

Salisbury said in a statement that he had "grown as much as I can at ESPN" and that he decided to expand his horizons with new opportunities in TV, radio, Internet, publishing, movies and public speaking. "My r

His attitude was not substantiated by a meaningful football career. Always thought he was a dumbass.

I can't help but wonder if his parting shot at ESPN was a picture message of his penis to Al Jaffe's phone.

emmitt is awful, stumbles through sentences, gets names wrong, contradicts himself, pretty much everything you dont want from an analyst. and this is just coming from a short sample ive heard of him

and this is coming from a huge cowboys fan

some of you guys have absolutely no clue at what your talkin about. his indepth, insightful and interrogative analysis was 10times better than most. cris carter is very good however. but this isnt carter vs. salisbury. salisbury was an outstanding analysis guy for espn, and often told the truth. we all should hope the best for him in his future. and glad that he is leaving to expand his horizons elsewhere, rather than getting stuck in conneticut.

He was absolutely terrible in Chicago radio a little while back. I hated listening to him and I'm glad he's not on TV any more.

he was kind of pompous, very cliched same tired phrases used over and over

but he always seemed like espns goto guy, if they needed someone to talk football he was normally the 1st guy they'd choose. kinda interesting that they'd fire him.

Ugh. I hate Carter with a passion.

I'd take Salsbury over him any day of the week.
