He'll do decent this year, I expect somthing like a 70-75 QB rating and around 3-5 wins.

He'll be the best qb drafted from 05-08

I would bet good money saying that he will not be better than Jason Campbell.

He looked ok in the preseason game making the correct reads for the most part, but there wasn't a lot of difficulty to any of the passes and he wasn't very accurate. I hated the pick on draft day, but I have warmed up to the idea a little more since then.

I don't think the best QB since '05 is saying a whole lot. I could be forgetting some, but Cutler is the only one that has really stood out. Young sucks, Leinart sucks, Smith sucks, Campbell is just above suck, Rodgers and Russell haven't had a chance to suck yet...

Meanwhile, Tarvaris Jackson has the best chance out of all of those to lead his team to the playoffs, possible exception of Campbell.

I just hope the Falcons doesnt make the same mistake like the Texans did our first year. Let Ryan develop, if they throw him to the wolves he might turn out to be anotehr David Carr.

every QB is different, the colts did the same thing with peyton manning and look how he turned up, you cant treat the situation like one in the past.

I forgot about Jackson. He also sucks. If the Vikings make the playoffs it won't be because he led them.

I disagree about turning him into David Carr, if the quarterback has the balls, it doesn't matter how many times he gets sacked.

As a Saints fan, I liked the pick, it leaves the Falcons out of the division race for a while, and I don't think he will ever be a QB that will leave me shaking like Mike Vick.

Not a bad pick either way, but I would have cried if they took Glen Dorsey.

The olny reason why Jackson has the best chance to bring his team to the playoffs is because of his running game and his solid defence

Michael Vick left you shaking in you're boots? Wow, you have been deprived of good QB's in that division. Vick Realalisticly never had a shot at leading a team to a superbowl.

Fortunately most teams couldn't defend Vick as tough as Denver.

18/24, 252 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT, 12 rushes, 115 yards

And the win.
