doesnt look like any controversy there, just a battle of who can suck the least. so your thread title is misleading

Yeah, there really is no "controversary" of the listed options.

It's a QB battle, not controversy, it's not like any of them are in an Aaron Rodgers situation.

Being as only one of those four teams even has a shot at sniffing the postseason, I'd go with the Ravens, but I'd be really surprised if Joe Flacco didn't get the job.

I'd be shocked if Pennington and Smith don't start to begin the season. Chicago is the most interesting situation to me, but I expect Grossman to start there. I haven't been following the Ravens situation at all; what's the word? Flacco off the bat?

But to answer your question, I think Baltimore has the biggest battle. I've heard good things about Smith and I expect him to start the season.

Your Texans will most likely have one with Schaub and Rosenfels.

or wait are you a Vikings fan right now?

There is no QB controversy in Houston. The media only wishes there were one to talk about. They make veiled references like "whoever's toting the rock in Houston" to convey the implication. There is no competition, there is no discussion. Matt Schaub is the anointed starter and undisputed leader of the team. Anyone who follows the Texans knows this.

Other teams wish they had a backup as good as Sage Rosenfels. And the Texans wouldn't have it any other way. But don't delude yourself thinking there's a chance in hell Matt isn't going to be the starter.

Those four teams make me feel a lot better about the Falcons situation.

Yeah, at least there's no question as to who's going to suck for the Falcons.

Actually no one knows who the opening day starter is going to be. But hell, Joey Harrington may be better than all of those guys.

Which player makes that ridiculous? Those are all a bunch of Joey Harringtons. At least the Falcons have someone that looks to have some potential.

hahaha can't argue that one. But back to the topic i voted for the Bears because to me they have the most interesting QB battle, every other team to me seems like they already have an idea of who the starter is gonna be.
