Would you like him on the Vikings? Or would you be more happy if he is a Texan?

Looks as if he'd rather have him in Dallas.
I'm really not too sure where Ronnie would fit best, but I think he'd be a really great fit in Green Bay (if not for Ryan Grant) or in Chicago (especially if Matt Forte doesn't pan out).

Chicago would make a nice stop, but I doubt the Bears would give up on Forte this early, even though I heard from some Bears fans that Forte is not a good RB. The Texans should make a run at him. Ahman Green is injury prone and they have some backs who cant carry a load like Ronnie can. Chris Brown is the closest to that.

doubt it, before Ronnie got hurt he was lighting the NFL world on fire behind the fins oline and Im sure hes still pretty young not to mention that the fins have no other future RB prospect

I know Icness isn’t a big fan but I find it hard to believe that the Dolphins would move him without somebody (other than a Munchos-eating pothead) ready to take over for the long-term.
Ic, what's the deal with this rumor?

Um who? Forte has looked really good in training camp and in preseason but the Bears' offensive line will be his worst enemy this season. Unfortunately the Bears organization seems to be fine with their depth at running back.

I'm not as negative on Brown as I used to be--he showed me better burst and toughness before he got hurt last year. I still wouldn't rate him as a top 15 starter though, I need to see one full season where he's above average, which would add to his current total of zero.
Regarding Mort's rumor mongering, I asked someone I know in the Dolphins front office if there was any truth to any Ronnie Brown trade talk. He told me flatly "Mort is lying thru his teeth" and that he suspects Brown's agent planted the seed with Mort. He did tell me they have talked to the Cowboys about moving John Beck and that could happen soon, but that Brown will "absolutely, without question" be a Dolphin at the start of the season.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

I was never a big fan of Brown either, seemed more like a workout warrior than a natural runner. But still, I can't see them moving him in favor of Ricky.

Why in the world would the Phins want to get rid of Brown? I know Ricky is doing great but in the NFL the 2 running back combo is huge and Brown and Williams is a great one.

I think if he is traded he would fit a team like the Texans, it could certainly take some pressure off Schaub and Andre

Well there it is. One person told you he sucks, therefore he must suck. From what I've watched this preseason he's looked very good.

Fins say they will not trade Brown.
Why would they want to?

He's coming off a serious knee injury, and rarely do you see a RB with this type of injury come back the following season, the same manner he was prior to the injury.
It's going to take 1 year at least for him to get back to where he was prior, and then he'd be up for an extension. -- Do you think the Miami Dolphins want to invest $50M on a possible RB they are banking on performing based on potential and 6-7 great games?
That's possibly 1 reason to move him now, while his value is high.....

Yeah, we really do need a feature back on our team. Ahman is too injury prone, Chris Brown is sometimes injury prone and I doubt he can carry a full load, Steve Slaton will be a good 3rd down runningback, but I doubt he will be a 30 carry a game back, Chris Taylor is a decent back, but the same with Slaton, he is a 3rd down back at best. But I dont know what we can give the Phins. I doubt we trade a 2nd rounder for him, and a 3rd rounder wont cut it.
