Nice. The team that loses the Super Bowl always has a terrible following season.

I've watched my team's QB suffer a torn ACL, sports hernia, torn abdomen, broken ankle, etc. over the past several years. While I've seen the Patriots win 3 superbowls, get caught cheating, and have to deal with the overall arrogance of the franchise and fans during this span. i have no sympathy for these guys.

It'll be interesting to see how Cassell plays, and if they can stay elite. What if Cassell throws up 30 TDs and the Pats go, say, 13-3? Does the 'Brady is a system QB" talk start back up or do people say New England found another megastar sleeper?

An experience that should make you feel empathy for the destruction of a team's season through a nasty injury. Instead, you act like a sore loser and get a nice sense of vindictive justice because a franchise you don't like ran into a crippling injury.
You're no better than the fans you're bitching about.

I feel bad for Brady. I don't feel bad for the fans, because they've had plenty of success. Belichick is a first class a-hole and frankly, deserves nothing. But the guy that is suffering is Brady and I think we can agree that he is not a person to despise.
I never celebrate injuries to other team's players, yet I am the same suffering Eagles fans that vaff is.
Here's to a full recovery.

Just got a 3-word text from Sirius NFL Radio's Zig Fracassi:
Brady is done
Enough confirmation for me.
Can a Vinny Testaverde return be in the offing?

They need to go grab a veteran either way. I refuse to buy Cassell's effectiveness as more than a fluke against a lousy team. Vinny's a little old for my tastes, though.

Can't say that I am happy, because with injuries, it's just wrong.
But, this does leave the door open for the other teams in the division, UNLESS Cassel can come in and manage that offense.

i don't like celebrating injuries to other teams players either, i just think it looks good on this team and their fans. I generally do like Brady, and think he's possibly the best QB I've ever seen.

Another excuse for Belicheat. It's going to be fun to see how they actually play without their franchise.

I am not one to welcome an injury to a professional athlete but maybe an absolutely awful season will knock some of their douchebag fans down a couple pegs.
Note- I am not saying all Pats fans are douchebags, tools or scum. There are however quite a few of those types in Patriots Nation.
Hopefully this isn't a career changing injury for Tom.
Note 2- I just realized that this might give the Pats another top 10 pick....awesome
