I dont really think you can measure up Winfield to most of these guys. I mean, he did make some good tackles and a nice play to grab the ball before Brees hit the ground, but can you really call someone mvp material because a ball landed in his hand and he outran a kicker for 70 yards?

He had two great plays, Bush had two great plays. Take away those four plays and I'll take the rest of Winfield's Monday night over the rest of Bush's Monday night. And Antoine's team came away with the W. He had much more influence on the Vikings win than Gus did. Subsitute Gus with most of the other starting QBs in the NFL and the Vikes do about the same. That can't be said on Winfield.

Ferotte was a mistake, i don't know what i was thinking when i wrote that, but..

That one Winfield play and both Bush plays were the exact same, except Bush had 11 guys in between him and the Endzone while Winfield had 0. If youre gonna give anybody recognition on that play it should be Pat Williams, who was the one who blocked the kick. I do agree that the one forced fumble by Winfield was a nice play, and he had a couple nice tackles, but that doesnt compare to returning 2 punts for TDs when your team and crowd is about to give up on the game. Plus, he shouldve had a THIRD punt return for a TD but he tripped over his own feet.
