Is this a good call?

I'm not a huge fan of the sport these days, but I was a big fan when Jerry Rice was in his prime. I always have a problem telling what is and what isn't holding, so I'm not sure about this play. It doesn't guarantee that San Fransisco would have won the game, but it certainly would have helped.

the 9ers were kinda like the patriots during that long period of time. theyve won several superbowl titles, however, they couldve won more. steve young was a big choker and didnt manage the game like joe montana, thats why they blew so many games. i guarantee however, even if accepted, the 9ers wouldve lost that game. the 9ers had to actually break the bank and create one of the biggest allstar teams ever to finally get young a title and the 9ers their 5th title. separating them i believe at the time from the rest of the pack. the steelers caught and now have their 6th, but during that period, it was all about the 9ers and cowboys vying for franchise supremacy.

holding? it depends upon if your a 49ers fan or a cowboy fan.

Young only had two chances in the NFC Championship game. He was certainly no Joe Montana but I would hardly put him in Peyton Manning's category. Why do you assume they would have lost? Football is more dependent on momentum than the other sports, so it helps a lot. They only lost by 10, so it's not like they got blown out.

Video? You'd also to look at what happened during the drive. Did the Cowboys score with that drive? Did it take away from any momentum? What was the score at the time?
