With FA Signing expected to start tonight/tomorrow morning, thought this thread could be useful in keeping up with all of the signings/re-signings and such.
Thus far, the Miami Dolphins have re-signed LB Channing Crowder and OT Vernon Carey. And, it's being reported that we're on the verge of signing S Gibril Wilson?

From Rotoworld:
[quote]Dolphins agreed to terms with SS Yeremiah Bell on a four-year, $20 million contract. The deal includes $10 million in guarantees.
They retained bell too.

http://www.indystar.com/article/2009022 ... 3/90226054The Indianapolis Colts agreed to a new three-year contract with center Jeff Saturday tonight, averting losing a longtime offensive cornerstone.
Terms were not immediately available, but Ralph Cindrich, Saturday’s agent, confirmed the transaction.

Consider it a case of beat-the-clock negotiations. Saturday, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, would have become an unrestricted free agent and hit the NFL’s open market at 12:01 Friday morning.

As the clock struck midnight, CB DeAngelo Hall struck it rich.
Hall reached an agreement with the Redskins on a six-year, $54 million deal that includes $22.5 million guaranteed and $30 million in the first three seasons.
Agents Alvin Keels and Joel Segal spent recent weeks negotiating with the Redskins and put the finishing touches on the deal as free agency kicked off.

VERY excited with what the pats are doing right now.
Scott to Jets, and ray ray saying no to BAL. Does this mean that Dallas and Lewis are a lock?

Not to be outdone, the Bears strike early!

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Just a few hours into free agency, the Bears on Friday agreed to a four-year contract with offensive lineman Frank Omiyale. Terms were not disclosed.
Omiyale, who’s capable of playing tackle and guard, appeared in 10 games with one start last season for the Carolina Panthers. The 6-4, 310-pounder entered the NFL in 2005 as a fifth-round draft pick with the Atlanta Falcons.
Omiyale made his lone start last season at left tackle in a 34-0 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The Panthers rushed for 205 yards and two touchdowns on 48 carries in that contest.
Omiyale appeared in one game in two seasons with the Falcons before being waived by Atlanta on Sept. 1, 2007. The Tennessee Tech product was claimed off waivers by the Panthers, but he was inactive for all 16 games in 2007.

Can you make sense of this Frank Omiyale situation Icness?
Can he play guard?
Is Jerry Angelo seriously going into next year with the Bears two tackles having one start of experience combined?
