I think you'd have to throw in whatever you're smoking to get Denver to bite.

Re: Cutler for Vince Young
Honestly I don't think the Titans could pay someone to take Vince Young right now unless they could tear up his deal and sign him to an incentive-laden vet minimum deal.
Kind of makes you wonder about that whole QB draft class though:
Vince Young--rotting on the bench and clearly not able to handle the mental challenges of being a pro athelte
Matt Leinart--got off to a fair start but never put the work in to improve, and now the Cards are supposedly wondering about his long-term future with the team.
Jay Cutler--you know this story
Kellen Clemens--has negligible trade value and is behind a UDFA converted DB on the Jets depth chart
Tarvaris Jackson--the cream of the crop, and MIN gave up a lot to get Sage Rosenfels to replace him
Charlie Whitehurst--tenatively the #3 in San Diego (and I guy I thought was better than Clemens)
Brodie Croyle--got a chance and flopped bad enough he won't get another one
Ingle Martin--couldn't beat out Matt Flynn for GB's #3 job
Omar Jacobs--never made a team
Bruce Gradkowski--had an okay initial run in an awful situation in TB before his lack of skills really showed up. Not likely to make any team this fall.
DJ Shockley--still hanging on as the #3 in ATL I think
3 seasons in and only Cutler is a legit starter, and he's got giant issues. I will step up and admit I though Leinart was going to be the next big thing, and I liked Whitehurst and Croyle as potential backups with long-term upside. But think back to draft day when Mel Kiper and Mike Mayock and all those ESPN wonks were telling you that this QB class would forever change the QB landscape in the NFL. Remember that come April 25, because none of this year's guys are as verifiably good as any of the top 3 in that class.

^ both Cutler and Young are head cases. Leinart is actually okay, but just has no work ethic
i would love to see Young in a zone blocking OL

Re: Cutler for Vince Young
i feel if croyle could stay healthy he could be a decent qb in this league, but he's so brittle and that injury he had last year was brutal. id give up a late round pick for him to be my backup

Re: Cutler for Vince Young
Vince Young is a bust.
He's got the same problem that Michael Vick had, and I don't mean the dog thing.
He should have played a different position other than QB.
He'd rather run than throw.

Re: Cutler for Vince Young
titans shouldve taken leinart. he is the prototypical drop back that is needed on that team. kerry is similar, but his shelf life is limited. hes gettin up there in years. norm chow tried to get that message across, but the owner thought he knew better, and with a new coordinator, hes finding out the same thing norm chow did. vince aint the prototypical style qb that is needed in the league. the titans are quickly coming to the end of their run. nice run building up to success. but they are free falling fast and will not recover quickly. they drafted the wrong qb. they let go of a premier defensive lineman. the qb is gettin up there in favre like years. and there are key positions that are also gettin old and cant hold on forever for the front office to turn things around.

No, the Titans should have taken Cutler. He's the best of the three. No questions asked.
Floyd Reese talked up Cutler quite a bit before that draft and still took Vince Young.
On Cutler's pro day workout at Vanderbilt, "It was just an awful day, cold, rainy and windy," says Reese. "And it didn't affect him in the slightest."

You're way off on that. Young much rather pass the ball. He just sucks at it.

VY10 isn't that good of a runner. Sure he can run enough to get you 20 to 25 yrds depending on how the defense is spread out in the field. Have him line up against the defense, he'l get killed as he's not as versitle of a runner as you think.
