Wound up giving tickets to the guy who lost his job for expressing frustration about losing a player who'd been a legacy with the team... Eagles look foolish here..

Even though his classiness was swept away the instant he signed with the Broncos, props to Dawkins for this charitable move

Despite playing for Philthadelphia and his careless helmet launches, I have always appreciated Dawkins as a player and a leader. Playing with that much passion and leading by example.

When Dawkins left, I think I might've stopped liking the Eagles. They were among my favourite teams for a decade and I was heartbroken when they lost the NFC Final. Now, with absolutely no one left out of the great secondary they had (Taylor, Vincent, Dawkins, Moore), and a bunch of other guys gone, it's not the same team.

Those comments below the story are always stupid, but they've reached a new level. When someone said "Now Dawkins won't have a good QB to throw him the ball", I thought it was clever. Then a bunch of people called the guy an idiot because Dawkins plays defence. :nonono:

Good gesture on his part, sure.
