because the falcons know, one of the biggest elements in football, is situational football. 3rd down conversions. redzone effeciency. keeping posessions alive. similar to the new york giants and steve smith, the falcons know the importance of this factor.

great move.

Seriously, this is just getting awkward.

Not sure how I feel about this, but he is certainly an upgrade at the position and now we don't have to draft Pettigrew!

I was hoping that the Eagles would get him instead...oh well.

Should be good for Matt Ryan and the rest of the Falcons, their offense will be very good and now they don't have to consider drafting a TE and can go all defense with their first few picks.

This is a good deal for the Falcons. I too was hoping the Eagles got him, maybe we can still get Braylon? Well, one can dream. :(

Dimitroff is doing an unreal job. He's the new Schuerholz in Atlanta. Too bad Gonzo didn't make the jump to Atlanta last season. Could have been playing in the Super Bowl.

Good day for the Falcons organization and it's fans. It's going to be even more exciting to be at the Dome this year.
