RealGM Draft Day Thread

Post#1 » by magicfan4life05 » Fri Apr 24, 2009 5:45 pm

I was just wondering if anything was being planned like a chat or something for draft day, I remember there was one last year and it was really fun.

Is anyone else interested in doing that again ?

They put a link to the chat on my final mock on the main page, so hopefully we get a decent crowd. I'll be in and out all day.

We can't talk about who the Lions are taking because they've reached a deal with Matthew Stafford.

Anyone hear any news on the Giants front? Besides the usual Boldin and Edwards stuff.

Tara Reid's stomach would prolly look like that if she weighed 300+ lbs.

Rams are on the clock...

Stafford wouldn't have been my pick but he's got potential. I like that he can sit next year and get used to the NFL. Half the year anyways, before we're 1-7 and clamoring for him to play.

Jason Smith--once again not what I would do, but OT is certainly a smart choice.

Man I want the Eagles to trade up and grab Crabtree, it'll never happen though.

Being a Raiders fan is the most frustrating and aggrivating thing ever. -_-

We could've got Crabtree, Monroe, or Raji with that pick. Who do the Raiders draft? Darrius Heyward-Bey. WTF?!

I don't understand what the Broncos are doing taking Moreno at 12.

Al Davis LOVES speed, and he went over a proven player because of what a player did in the combine.

I don't get how GM's continue to do that year in and year out. -- Look at Gholston and the NYJs last year, he did absolutely nothing.

Bad choice by Davis and the Raiders. I've would've grabbed Raji as they needed to beef up on defense. They could've gotten a WR somewhere later in the draft.
