After having my godly record in Madden go to hell this morning, I'm so happy real football is here. Just 34 minutes to gametime for the Jets. I'm so excited right now.

I would say something bad about the Jets but Dustin Keller is my starting TE on my fantasy team (Strahan's Gap Tooth) so I need Dirty Sanchez to play well.

seriously though how can some of you guys stick with the jets(a whole lot of sucking in their history) and knicks(sucked this decade)

The Hakeem Nicks era will begin on Sunday against the Redskins.
Sure, we knew that already. But from the sound of Tom Coughlin Friday, Nicks won't just be standing on the sidelines or covering kicks. After an impressive preseason that included four deep completions -- three of which went for touchdowns -- the first-round pick will apparently be an integral part of the Giants' offense this weekend.
"He's playing it right now," Coughlin said when asked at what point Nicks will play a "major role" in the offense. "He's involved right now in everything we're doing. We basically have four guys that will do a lot of rotating and a lot of playing."
The other three are obviously Domenik Hixon, Steve Smith and Mario Manningham. Derek Hagan figures to be active and playing a role in special teams, which means Moss and Ramses Barden could be among the inactives.
On his way out of the locker room, Nicks was asked about playing a role on Sunday.
"Ready to go," he said with a smile. "Can't wait to get started."

i know all that but if it were me after 10 or so years i would be tired of all that mediocrity.

o/t: i hope for FOX football they don't go to that dumb stop motion camera that they use for baseball.
i'm sure you yankee fans have seen it, when the pitcher is pitching to the batter the picture is awful ... if they do that for football i'll literally complain.
