10 Things I Hate About the NFL
I know this is shameless self-promotion, but it's not like there are ever a ton of topics on this board anyway, and I think this'd be a fun article to discuss:

yup
And #9 is because of money. Networks need fewer 4pm games so they can have a premier game that the majority of the country has their eye on. When there are no other games on they pull in massive numbers and can charge huge amounts for commercial air time. See the 2 highest rated tv shows of the week:
#1 Chicago @ Green Bay - only game on
#2 Tennessee @ Pittsburgh - only game on

One of my top 10 would be the lack of fun allowed by the league. These celebration rules are just foolish and I think take away from the game. Giving 15 yard penalties for a snow angel (Wes Welker) is asinine.
Another would be the over protection of the QB. Look at Vince Wilfork's hit on Edwards last week, that was a perfect tackle. It's just getting to the silly point. Might as well just put a flag on them.

The most annoying thing is that it's called football, yet the use of feet on ball is not exactly dominant.

Re: 10 Things I Hate About the NFL
You could re-write that article as, "10 things I hate about sports" with the exception of 6, 8 and 9. I don't get the point of this article. It's weaksauce.
1) Your Ty law point has no point. Ty Law was cut multiple times. Know why? Cos he wasnt good after 2003. Id rather be able to cut a player past his prime then keep him on a guaranteed contract. I actually like that about the NFL.
2) This applies to every team sport. When players have awful games...really? That made your top 10. That point was the 2nd point in why you hate the NFL? Seems to me more like a generic point to any sport. Players have bad games time to time. O.k. Some writers have bad articles time to time. But so what?
3) This applies to every team sport.
4) This applies to every team sport that glorifies the individual. In fact, it happens way more in basketball then football.
5) This applies to every team sport.
6) I agree with this. Good point.
7) Injuries happen in every team sport. Football happens more because there are more players on the field and its more violent. I dont get why this makes you hate football. In fact, id argue that in the NBA injuries are more devastating because you only have 5 starters. 5 players on the court and if one of those gets injured (like KG) your team is effed.
8) Agree totally.
9) Agree totally.
10) I bet you've never dated a girl thats had a tan.

. Nice topic sentence. lolAs inspiring as comebacks can be, fans often forget that whenever a team makes a comeback, another team blows a lead

are you serious?
LMFAO.
Football’s about toughness, though, and while the image of a woman in what’s basically a push-up bra and hot pants is very appealing, it’s not tough.
LMFAO.

You obviously don't know very much about football. And your writing could use some work as well.

Re: 10 Things I Hate About the NFL
agreed with most of the posters here, a lot of these you can put on 10 things you hate about sports.
You got to get over this Seymour trade. He wasn't the best player on defense. He wasn't even the best player on that line, I'd take both wilfork and Warren over him.
Number 10

This is what happens when Canadians write about football. If you ask me, hockey could use some half naked female entertainment.
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

Re: 10 Things I Hate About the NFL
neglected to mention bad calls by refs; I know every result isn't their fault, but way too many game results can be traced back to "remember that horrible pass interference call and they ended up scoring the next play" etc. Refs get a lot of bad raps because homers think every call is bad, but a lot of game changing bad calls happen way too often
