That Bears offensive line is just deplorable. Bears D did everything they could but the offense refused to make a single big play.

Bears/49ers thoughts:
--first Bears 3rd down on offense for the night, and 3 Bears OL wound up on their butts in pass protect. It's not like SF has much of a pass rush either...
--Cutler was forcing a lot of throws, but his receivers are just terrible. Hester can't plant and cut, Knox can't do anything when the defender gets in his way, they don't finish routes. The 4th INT would have been pass interference had Kellen Davis not slowed up out of his cut, but instead the ball was more to Roman and Davis wasn't there first.
--What happened to Crabtree after the first drive? They Bears started getting more physical with him near the line and he couldn't handle it.
--Right side of the SF OL played real well.
--Way too many dumba$$ penalties on both sides. Nice false starts by Vernon Davis
--Alex Smith is not the answer at QB, but at least he avoids mistakes.
--Two highly unimaginative, predictable offenses had a lot to do with the low score. You could tell the Bears D knew what was coming pretty much every snap.
--Andy Lee had an off night
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

I agree on the Cutler/WR's take and its a reason I wasn't sure how successful it would be for Chicago this year. They need a top WR in the offseason but OL takes the cake as their top need.

In addition to Lee, Nedney missed a FG inside 40, which has been rare since he's been with the 49ers.

They have no first day draft picks I believe because of the Cutler/Adams trade. As the Bears have seen, you can't fix o-line issues with FA (especially when no good offensive lineman reach FA).

The Packers have similar issues with the offensive line but they are younger and less experienced. Though they have suck equally if not worse than the Bears unit. The sh***y running games for both teams don't help either.

It's possible to sign good offensive linemen. The right side of the Falcons' OL were garbage signings and they're a pretty nasty duo now. And our center was a 7th round draft pick which is about the same. Just got to find some tough dudes and coach them up a bit.

He talked a lot of crap against the pats all last week, and didn't make one tackle. Sparano/Parcells don't take kindly to that.

Washington has awful body language, like they're done already. Great deep ball by Orton
Rams playing well except Bulger
Bengals long snapping bites again
Lions look good for losing 3-0
