Rams fans - what will it take?

To get the #1 pick?

I'm a broncos fan.....and we need Suh on our team BADLY. You already have Carriker at DT, and could use many upgrades. We have to improve our Defensive line, and I think we have enough to interest you....

Brandon Marshall, anyone? Is he enough to entertain that offer? If not, what would it take? Thanks!

god i hate fans who propose trades in football, it's the single most complicated sport to trade players in

the least amount it would cost you is marshall and your 2 1st rounders

Well, then, I guess it's lucky for me that this forum is not all about YOU now, isn't it? Keep your sensitivities to yourself.

You can keep him. We can get two firsts for Marshall ourselves. Roy WILLIAMS was worth two firsts. And Marshall is leaps and bounds better.

As much as I crave a good DT, we have more holes to fill. Thx for your opinion, even though we disagree on Suh's value. Clearly you're a Rams fan....

Randy Moss was worth a fourth rounder.
Deion Branch netted a first rounder.

Trade value is the trickiest thing to figure out in football. Plus in football there are such small things that go into everything. I doubt the Broncos can jump to the first overall pick, to much of a trade down for the Rams.

clearly you're delusional if you think a prima donna receiver is worth the 1st pick in the draft

and roy williams netted 1 1st rounder

Roy Williams netted a 1st (20th pick not the #1 pick) 3rd and 6th round pick. But you can't really use that trade as a measuring stick. Roy Williams was going to be a FA and wanted to go home to Texas anyway. Martin Mayhew got Jerry Jones to give up multiple picks to obtain a player they were already likely to sign.

the broncos need a quarterback!

the NFL stands for Not For Long. in other words, people will and have started to figure out your quarterbacks shortcomings. dink and dunk every where. that stuff gets figured out. why? because the quarterbacks accuracy with the long ball is weak.

get a quarterback with a strong arm who can go deep, and they will be able to open it up next year.

HEY STUDCRACKER.....

maybe you ought to READ the post - I asked what it would take, and offered Marshall as a starting point.

You're an idiot. If any other fans want to get on and talk about this topic, cool, but send this moron back to his trailer.

Yes, we need a stronger arm at QB. But we need help on both lines and in the secondary. Suh would be a big piece of the puzzle for us, Orton isn't going away anytime soon....

Why would the Rams want Marshall when they don't have a competent QB and below average offensive line? Marshall would probably just b**h and moan playing for a crappy team with a bad QB. Anyways the Broncos will have to cough up multiple draft picks to even entertain the Rams. All in all, I think the Rams keep the no.1 pick and draft Suh, though they could shock everyone and draft Clausen (a stupid move imo).

You're asking a fanbase that is non-existent on this board, you realize this right?

lol studcrackers is a cowboys fan i am pretty sure. And Brandon Marshall will not get you the 1st pick. I don't think the rams want him at all and would much rather build through the draft.

LOL I know Marshall alone won't get it done. We also have a nice young receiving TE in Scheffler (prob worth a 2-3 rd pick) and some other young players and/or picks.

I like Suh THAT much - I think he'd be dominant in a few years, and he's exactly what Denver needs to build on for the 3-4.

Normally I don't even propose football trades, but since Marshall is being a whiny little b&tch like Cutler was, let's at least get something of value.

Wonder if AZ would trade Boldin for Marshall? Scary to think about Fitzgerald and Marshall on the same squad, though...

you have to watch out for suh. i think he is a great player by the way. but the need #1 for the rams is quarterback. you have to build from there #1. secondly, suh is great! but so is the defensive head coach that theyve got there. at LSU there was a great defensive lineman, who had this same coach as his defensive coordinator. so the danger for suh is, was "part" of his greatness due to scheme?? or was it all ability.

i would say the rams have to go with their best bet. their safest bet. quarterback. that means most likely clausen out of notre dame.

Its not just this board. St. Louis isn't a Rams town at all. It is a Cardinals and Blues town. They should just move back to LA. No one would miss them.

it's way too much of a fall down for the Rams who need an impact player. Carriker and Suh on defense would make the jobs of everyone else on defense that much easier, I see no issue as to why Suh can't go to St Louis even with Adam there.

Definitely agree with you on that one. Carriker and Suh would compliment each other well and even if it didn't work I don't think the Rams would have much trouble moving Carriker to DE.

Carriker played DE in college, it wouldn't be a huge stretch to put him back there if you're the Rams. You can't pass up on a guy like Suh I don't care who you are.
