wow, saints have a ton of free agents

didnt know that.

"New Orleans has a laundry list of 18 restricted free agents, some of whom would have been unrestricted free agents in the system that allowed players to test the market after their fourth season in the NFL."

but hey, the bling has been delivered to new orleans. if they break it all up, no one can take that title away.

The key guys are Darren Sharper and Scott Fujita. I still think Fujita is not any good and they can probably let him and draft a younger guy. Sharper is old and he gambles, but he creates a lot of turnovers too. I would let him go since there is a chance he will decline sharply do to age.
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

Keep Sharper, Sharper was amazing this year.

Fujita blows, and so does Shanle.

from what i saw, heres some stuff that they need. not necessarily in order, or all that they need, but 1 would do. 2 would mean certain conference championship game.

vince wilfork NT (double team required) get a guy like this, and everyone else on the line is goin one on one.

richard seymour (excellent 3-4 OR 4-3 guy) he is an excellent pocket collapser, if there is such a term. anyhow, paired up with ellis and that middle is SOLID!

ray edwards-minnesota vikings-see nfc title game. fumbles and turnovers killed the vikings, not the defense.

anyhow, the backers are serviceable. the dbs are quality enough. but the front is going to get pounded. look at the division. theyve got teams that will turn into the NY jets and play ground and pound and keep the ball out of brees' hands next year. which means offensive touches are going to be a premium. but if you have a front like that, no one runs against your team. and you dont have to onsidekick the ball to get more offensive reps.

Shanle and Fujita suck d00d, they get beat by anyone they cover and they are marginal AT BEST against the run, even when we are stopping guys inside, anything outside is a big gain.

We need a run stuffing 2 down nose tackle, and some speedy LBs.

thats what the Packers and Vikings thought too, they were wrong. I suppose it'll happen at some point, but no sense in not squeezing every drop out of him before it does

It looks like Sharper will whined up staying in NO.

I don't seem to understand the LT to NO talk. NO seems to have two good rb's already. Spread the wealth.
