Most Jet fans are scratching our heads. We knew that there some grumblings coming out the camp of Kerry Rhodes and all but we thought after the Cromartie trade he was safe. I know that this draft is deep in safeties and there are some big names on the restricted market, but no one is really happy about this.

Rhodes had a $2 million roster bonus owed to him next week. I think this is a very good trade for the Cardinals considering the circumstances and Rolle leaving.

lol I think Rhodes is better than Rolle. So the Cards managed to upgrade instead of overpaying Rolle big time like the Giants did and all it cost them was giving up part of what they got for Boldin who was expendable due to having Breaston and Doucet.
They will make up for losing Dansby as well, who got way overpaid although he isn't a top notch ILB either, if they get Foote and Porter, plus draft an ILB.
Losing Kurt Warner is way way way bigger than any of those overrated defensive players like Rolle and Dansby. Cards 'D' was bad last year and Rolle and Dansby were at least part of it while the Cards best defensive players remain Dockett, DRC and Wilson, plus an emerging CC.

An absolute steal if Rhodes plays like he did the last half of the season.

He's perfect for their defensive scheme, better than Rolle. They'll miss Antrell in coverage on wideouts but Rhodes is so much better at diagnosing stuff in front of him it shoudl make a nice wash.
Props to the Cardinals for not being afraid to retool on the fly. Compare them with Carolina, which has lost at least 4 projected starters and could lose Richard Marshall today, and they aren't going to add anyone.

Hate seeing talented players joining teams in my division, while my team signs David Carr...
