Putting in a normal off season a year after dropping so much weight, I'll be interested in seeing where Garza ends up. Maybe a two way, maybe the g league this year. Whether he can adapt enough to stick around the NBA for a couple years or he ends up in Europe or Asia, he will likely get paid to play somewhere for a while. Too bad his high BBIQ and culture fit couldn't offset his physical limitations.

I agree. Seems like a hard worker. I wish he would have had enough athleticism to have some type of role.

I just don’t think he could become agile enough or increase his speed sufficiently no matter how much training he does.

Even after his “extreme weight loss”, he looks like he’s running in cement. I don’t think he can overcome those genetics.

I’m sure he’ll be fine in a lesser league.

If Garza doesn't pick up a deal anywhere else, I'm sure its possible we'd sign him to a training camp deal and then if he doesn't make the team, sign him with the Cruise. I know he was a fan favorite there. But I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him pick up a min deal somewhere else with a bit more opportunity.

I bet some team will take a flyer on him. He was really good in the G-League.

Hopefully he signs with the Cruise and we can all chip in to get Manocad season tickets.
