My hope is that there was a typo and the two seconds was really meant to be our first.

It’s clear to me that Weaver views Noel and Burks as positive additions to our roster- a way to flesh out our rotation without committing long term money. Hence his willingness to accept meager draft compensation.

I’m not sure what I was hoping for. But whatever. I’ve made my peace with it. It makes logical sense even if I’d really liked to have gotten better value.

I saw them as a way to get to the 90% cap number without adding wins and get something for taking them on. Burks has a little potential but I doubt there's much thought of Noel being a positive addition.

I know that the lakers weren’t will to attach a first to trade Westbrick for Wall but I wonder if they would have attached a first for pure cap relief.

Seems like a pretty desperate situation with LeBrons clock ticking.
