Jaden Ivey

Post#1 » by Rip32 » Sun Jul 10, 2022 2:36 pm

has a dawg mentality like the great Isiah Thomas (the best player in Piston history), who works hard at his craft. Imagine if Hayes had this in him. I would not be surprised if Ivey is the best player on the team and in the league in a couple of seasons. Yes, better than Cade

Eh, injury prone, poor handle, bad shot selection, plays out of control(got confused who was Saben Lee, and who was Ivey at times)and another Weaver draftee who is not the height stated.

He is not 6'4, more like 6'2. That has a huge impact on the defensive end, and will greatly limit his time on the floor.

We'll have another shot at it next year, hopefully Weaver will be fired by then so the team can draft into the second round as well.

Ivey played 2 full seasons at Purdue and for U19 team USA so where is injury prone coming from?

6'2''? He's 5'10'' on a good day.

You must have him confused with Isiah Thomas. :)

Yeah, but at least he dwarfs that midget Cunningham.

Ivey strikes me as Westbrook with a shot. I'm thinking there's hope for him. Sure hope that wasn't a career ending ankle sprain.

This kid along with Cade is gonna make us good real quick I think, Killian a solid fit with both, Duran covers the rebounding, this could give us a significant jump.

The word height should be banned on this forum even when joking. :)

Cade + Ivey = fun to watch this team.
