Blake Griffin to the Celtics

I saw part of his appearance on Reddick’s podcast. He takes it pretty personally that Piston fans hate him- from his perspective he played his ass off to the point of trying to play in the playoffs hurt. The whole “Blake hasn’t dunked in x days” things bugged him in particular- and has resented the booing he’s received upon return.

There’s a bit of a point on his part- he didn’t ask SVG to trade for his god-awful contract- and he did give it his all when he was healthy. I also personally never bought the whole not-dunking thing- his dunks in Brooklyn came after quite some time of rehabbing on his own- he was playing hurt (or not playing at all) during the time he was “refusing” to dunk for us.

But it’s hard to even consider any point he might have had now that we have his behavior upon his return to LCA to evaluate. It’s…not been great.

I honestly haven't been paying attention. Anything in particular happen at LCA?

There was that Griffin/Stewart mini-scrum. That may have sealed it for Griffin.

Blake has one of those asshat personalities, as shown by how he treats people. In the little scrum shown above, Stewart would have destructed him, Blake wants no part of that.
