Can't make it up. First time in 3 years, and they get scored on live in the box score. Some things never, ever, change.

Nope. It truly is like a curse, like they’ll just never put all the pieces in the right places at the right time. QB can have a good game but throw an interception at the worst time or miss a wide open receiver when a big play is needed. A runner fumbles in the red zone, a receiver fumbles after a first down catch, a missed tackle in the backfield that would have forced a punt yet instead the runner gets a first down. They do it all, and all the time.

And Oruwariye absolutely SUCKS.

btw this was the second week in a row it felt like the vikings stole a win, they're pretty lucky to be 3-1 and not 1-3 imo.

What kind of Lions fan are you to not know SOL haha.

In any event, more SOL yesterday. The Pistons season couldn't start any sooner because it appears that the Lions season is pretty much already over right after it started.

big trade! what's the scoop with hock? i haven't seen much of him play but we definitely needed to add a TE with irv smith going down for a while and the team hoping to contend this year.

you guys think the lions will make any other "purge" trades? trading hock makes sense - he's due like $9M next season which is a lot for a team that could use the money for more important positions and he's definitely going to want an extension this coming off season.

This to me is the start of the white flag being thrown up. When Hockenson is targeted he definitely catches the ball and has the ability to make things happen; he's definitely a good/better than average tight end. So yeah, this seems like a "trade him for as much as we can get before we have to pay him and it still won't make a difference in wins" thing.

btw seeing as the vikes' 2nd round pick this year will likely be around the 60th pick and the lions 4th rounder will likely be around the 100th pick, the value gained for the lions is essentially an extra mid-3rd round pick. that's not factoring moving up a round in the 2024 draft.

that's based on the jimmy johnson chart, which i know is becoming less popular but still gives an idea of what value the lions got for hock.

If they're happy with Brock & Mitchell, then I'm ok with it, minus the fact that they didn't get enough in return.

If, on the other hand, they turn around now and use a draft pick on a TE, I'll be pissed.

Coming out of lurker status to say this is a tough year...

Dodgers - threaten to break the regular season win records, bounced right away
Packers - this ain't good
Haas F1 - I mean, it's what's expected. But you still want more.
Huskers - we're not used to this!!!
Pistons - at least they're fun!
