The same problems are still plaguing the team. I don't think Casey can be fired, so the system will remain the same, and the starting lineup, which is horrific, will remain the same.pistonsbball wrote:zeebneeb wrote:That is a bold statement after watching the product out on the floor.pistonsbball wrote:Tough L. We'll be much better than this Knicks team in 24 months, they're a just above average treadmill team.
This is the worst era of Pistons basketball ever, by a sizable margin.
It is going to be a long road to even being a bad team at this rate. Nothing tells me its going to get any better, anytime soon. Nothing.
You're just being willingly ignorant if you can't see the flashes of what we can be when Ivey, Duren and co. are out and running and the energy that comes from that. And I'm not denying there are a lot of ugly moments.
Dunno what people expect from one of the youngest teams in the league that hasn't played much bball together.
This year is going to be yet another lost year. If things change next year, something could happen.
I reiterate, Casey is now the second longest tenured Pistons coach, and his record is 107-208.
I mean, unless the direction of the team changes, i expect more of the same.
