If We Get The #2 Pick, Who Would You Want?

I don't watch NCAA, and rely solely on Summer League and Pre-Season, and your opinions.

From what I read, Scoot Henderson is considered the expected 2nd pick, but he's a point guard. I'm just curious who you are interested in.

Im going BPA, even if that means creating a 3 guard rotation out of the last 3 drafts.

Scoot looked legit when i watched him and VW go at it so im going with the consensus on this one.

We're still bad enough that it should be best player available at #2... if not then you trade down and get value.

Is Scoot the 2nd best player available? And would you want him? Casey staggers Cade and Ivey's minutes because they seem to play better with the ball in their hands, and not together so much... And then we have Killian playing better. Let's see if he can keep it up.

(I tried deleting this after looking at the thread below, but got replies, thanks)

As of now and probably moving forward but we've yet to see other projected top 5 picks play like Whitmore and Smith jr

I remember purchasing Lebron's games on VHS when he was still a junior, lol... It wasn't his athleticism that won me over. It was his vision; his passing.

i would absolutely love for the BPA wherever we pick to be a wing (especially a bigger wing) but as of right now there's a pretty clear talent gap between scoot and everyone else if we get the second pick.

take scoot and have a three-guard rotation with him, cade and ivey. the cade/scoot back court might have some growing pains since both players are primarily on-ball guys but they both have enough talent to figure it out eventually.

I remember watching him make a between the legs bounce pass, in transition, that hit his man perfectly in stride. It's the sorta thing you might see from an elite pg, and this high school kid out there making it look easy. That was my defining memory of LBJ as a prospect.

Zero chance I'm passing on Scoot at two. In in the far majority of classes Scoot would be the hype prospect everyone was tanking for. This class just happens to have VW. Scoot is a true franchise changing PG.

I would expect we eventually trade Ivey or Cade whichever doesnt fit with Scoot. Both Ivey and Cade would have very high trade value so we could aim for some upside young guys that fit. Good thing about draft BAP is you end up in spots where you have good assets to trade for fit.
