I'm starting wonder how the team is going to finish up. I've done some preliminary browsing on several teams, and bad 4 years stretches, and so far, the Pistons are on track to have perhaps the worst 4 year stretch for any franchise ever. I haven't checked all the teams yet, but man its been maybe the worst 4 years stretch ever a fanbase has had to endure. Absolutely cannot have another year like this one next year. It would be unprecedented.

During "The Process" years the Sixers won 19, 18, 10, 28 in four 82 game seasons. (75 games total0
This Pistons team has won 20, 20, 23, 8(thus far 71 wins but we'll for sure get at least 5 more wins this season) but have two of those as shorter seasons.

Still, its discouraging to see us nearing the half way mark of the season and on pace for another 20 win season. With Charlotte winning their last game, Detroit is once again dead last in the NBA.

"The process" 6ers went:

19-63
18-64
10-72
28-54

in 4 consecutive years. Considering the Pistons haven't had under 20 wins since 1980, I'd say theirs was definitely worse. 10 wins in a full season is just brutal.

No Cade and starting 4 guys that are between 19 and 21 years old pretty much guarantees a very bad team. Which, given the upcoming draft, I'd guess is quite intentional.

Missed this one. Obviously Lauri worked us over, but don’t sleep on Vanderbilt. That dude can play. He has one more cheap year under contract (sub 5) and is then gonna get paid. He’s a guy I’d love to see us add. Strong defender, willing passer, very good athlete with length, and is developing range. Would be a great fit with Duren and Stew as a three bigs rotation.

I couldnt watch all the game but when I was looking, Ivey was doing interesting things with the ball.

He is so fast that in open floor running he has to be in the top 10 guys in the league. That is a talent worth much if he figures out how and when to use it.

Many plays he ran down the court and put in a lay up, not off a miss and long rebound, but off a make. Someone made a shot, they inbounded it and he sprinted down the court for a relatively easy make. Those are free points and really wear on the other team to always be sprinting back even off makes to get set.

He made some excellent passes too. His shot is ugly and he brings the ball too far down. But Hayes completely reworked his shot so its not unheard of. Ivey's Mom is a coach - so he should be open to it.

I want a shot at wem, lost season with cade hurt anyway. Sit back and enjoy Ivey and Duran development. Last night first game I have caught in awhile duren has crazy potential for being so young and athletic. Ivey we know what he has. Does suck lottery changed cause being worst team in league isn’t what it used to be for
Getting #1 pick. Addin another top 3 pick hopefully #1 to this core should help a lot I’d think.
