It may be true but Duren has 2 fouls and has to lay off so as not to pick up his 3rd.

Cavs bench cheering on a Defensive 3 seconds is…odd

I don’t blame Jaden on that tech. Neto gets to just play with his hands

Re: Pistons-Cavs (7pm)
They're missing two all-star starting guards and we still get rolled by 30. Jalen Duren with 12/8 and 3 blocks but not much positive outside of that for this one. I think once we get past the trade deadline, unless something crazy happen trade wise... it might be time for me to take the rest of this season off and come back for the draft lottery in May.

Cade better come back as a top 15 player for this team to compete next season. This game was embarrassing

Beef Stew has been really struggling since he came back from injury. His shot is off and he’s been a step slow on D

There's just some games where it feels like this team is so far away from being good (hell even average) again.

Yeah, this roster is pretty much garbage.

We're close, we just need about four quality starters.

Re: Pistons-Cavs (7pm)
Speaking in bigger picture terms, I think it's hard to criticise the overall process too much. Most of us who endured the 2008-2019 Pistons had been screaming for a rebuild and we finally got it when Weaver came on board in 2020.
The main criticism now is that we have a coach that doesn't seem to be unlocking the potential of the young core, and it feels like player development has been hindered with guys like Bey and Stewart taking a step back this year.
Weaver can draft whoever he wants in June and sign whatever FAs he thinks will take us to the next level, but we won't seriously start progressing and being able to compete while Casey remains the coach.

Re: Pistons-Cavs (7pm)
I think it's the organization of the team. Most coaches would have a similar rotation, even though there's always one guy who isn't getting much time, and one guy who gets too much.. Notice all the guys who leave Detroit and become good players. I barely remember playing Dinwiddie, just traded in that big deal... Middleton - same thing. Another throw-away.
It's just like a music band. Many "supergroups" don't work, and sometimes it's about personality, money, who sacrifices, but most importantly, the players have to fit, and that's on Weaver. He can't just be coy forever -- we need wins. Not saying the wrong things isn't enough and I feel the frustration from many in here because I was sick of that game yesterday, and these Pistons games are what I look forward to -- having something at night where I can unwind a bit, but it does irritate when I don't see effort (Nerlens, dude you are auditioning!) when most people have to give 100% for a job that pays 1/100000th.
