No posts in a game thread for half hour.

Love to see Ivey with 10 assists and just 1 TO through 3 quarters, but that 0-6 from deep is tough.

Watching Ivey play these last few games is making me somewhat worrisome. Last year even when cade's shot wasnt falling he was able to contribute other ways which caused us to go almost .500 down the stretch last year. If Iveys show isnt falling he's BAD. His defense is subpar and he plays out of control. He doesnt have any feel to the game.

7 months. 7 damn months before any potentially relevant Piston games are played. I don't know why I just thought of that, but man, I wish I hadn't.

**** brutal.

Tonight he's got 12 assists, just 1 TO, 5-5 from the line and 5 rebounds... I would say he's been solid besides going 0-7 from deep...

MR.2023 needs to be a elite 3pt shooter. Cade hasnt shown hes a + 3pt guy yet. Ivey and Duren sure as hell arent. We need to draft a guy in the young core that can be that off ball 3pt shooter that the offense needs to operate. I've got no interest in a developmental shooter as I dont trust our development.

Then we need to use our cap space and what will likely be a overpay on a 3+D player. Its just essential to have shooting to space the floor so everyone can operate in a modern offense.

Tonight was actually a hard fought game they had guys playing hard, but we just didn't get enough scoring out of our starting backcourt going 7-25 from the floor. You'd think Burks would score a bunch but with Bojan out he's likely more of a focal point of the defense.

Best shooter is Brandon Miller

Miller,Dick, and Hendricks are all elite shooters that I'm high on those are my 3,4,5 prospects.

Hampton had 5 steals in 20 minutes? 3 assists and 2/2 from 3? How did he look tonight?

Totally. It's like he plays like...I don't know...like he's a rookie or something. Unacceptable.

Very Diallo like on defense gambling a bit for steals and getting them in the opponents backcourt. He's another high energy athlete. Hard to say if his shot will consistently fall or not but he was more of a bright spot last night than most Pistons players.

Not a bad loss considering the lineup the Pistons ran out. The effort was definitely there.

Last I heard Miller was an elite assist man to shooters...

Playing a rookie a lot of minutes isn't good?

I declined to make that pun because it would have gotten me a 30 day ban.
