Former Pistons in Denver

Post#1 » by Uncle Mxy » Wed May 17, 2023 11:54 am

C: DeAndre Jordan -- clearly, we waived him because we didn't have enough Cs
PF: Bruce Brown -- Saddiq Bey was totally worth it... TOTALLY
SF: KCP -- at least he saved us from ourselves to the tune of $80 million
SG: Reggie Jackson -- kneegeneration?!? What's his secret?
PG: Ish Smith -- I'm sure Killian Hayes our PG of the future will make us forget him

No, the PF position doesn't really work, but I thought for a sec that Jeff Green was a Piston for 5 minutes because he's been on so many darn teams. Yes, it's effectively the off-season for us. I'm being silly, because it beats crying about draft position.

I've watched them all year. KCP and Bruce Brown have played great for Malone, who really loves those guys. I'd read reddit game threads, and the fans seem to think they were the missing pieces. I'm rooting for them. Ish is a good guy to have on the bench for leadership, always talking to guys.

It does makes Denver an easier team to root for, would like to see Bruce Brown especially get a ring after he was a real hard worker and contributor for us and we cast him out for nothing (his trade was also unrelated to Bey btw, that was Kennard).

Yep, I've always been a Bruce Brown fan as well. I'll always remember having the Bruce vs Luke debates here on the forum. Brown's grit and versatility are what I always liked most about him.

Dude has what used to be known as "Pistons DNA." But that has been bastardized over the last 15 years or so its not an endearing term anymore, and really not even used these days.

If Bruce gets a ring, that will also mean that Lebron won't get another one. Which is another +

Man, all they're missing is Drummond. He's still in Chicago getting them checks right?

Brown is easy to root for, same with KCP. I'm genuinely surprised with RJ's revival or at least for the Clips

Definitely rooting for Denver. Especially if it stops the Lakers, Celtics, and Heat from getting rings.

They've fit in because they provide the perimeter defense no one else on the Nugs could give.

Without them who's guarding the opponent's best guard? Murray? That would tax him in ways they can't afford.
