Marcus Sasser deal not done???

Post#1 » by pollack419 » Tue Jun 27, 2023 2:13 pm

Heard Piston Mic on youtube say the deal is not done for Sasser and is part of a bigger deal. What could that be?

Deal is : pick 25 Bos from Mem for Pistons Pick 31 and 2 future 2nds which they haven't said which picks.

Stewart is a rumored interest from Boston

Alec Burk could be involved and replaced with signing of Caris Lavert a rumored signing he seems like the same type of player

maybe clear more cap and free up mins for signing both Caris and a harrison barnes

Cade /Killian
Ivey / Sasser
Caris / Auser
Barnes
Duran

Who would be a realistic piece for Mem or Boston? I hope not Williams from Boston

The "bigger deal" is that the pick was from Memphis traded to Boston in the Porzingas, Smart, Tyus Jones deal.... The deal is done it was finalized before Sasser sat down and talked to the press a few days ago.

I think the smart/porzingis trade can only officially go through in the new league year so that’s why the sasser trade isn’t official yet. Should be official short after July 1.

Yeah Sasser is locked in.

No one seemed to notice the moves Brad Stevens and the Celtics did on Draft Day.

Kept moving back in the 2nd round and ended up owning

The Mavericks' 2024 second-round pick

The best of the Pistons', Warriors', or Wizards' 2025 second-round pick

The best of the Timberwolves', Pelicans', Knicks', or Trail Blazers' 2026 second-round pick

The Hawks' 2027 second-round pick

Cheap depth for a team that might move on from Grant Williams
