I love the positivity, but man, a possible 20 win increase? That would be amazing, and this board would be over the moon for it.Spider156 wrote:thesack12 wrote:Piston Pete wrote:
Health being the big one, IMO.
Compared to last season, a full year of Cade would be nice.
Plus additions of Ausar and Monte will help.
Just having Cade, alone will get us to at least 20 wins (up from 17). Add in Monte playing over Hayes/CoJo and Ausar…we could see 25 wins? Maybe 30?
My opinion is Detroit will be a 25-28 win team.
Which is not nearly good enough to start to be able to pluck tier A or B free agents next summer.
Coaching is everything when it comes to win. That’s what fans forgot here in Detroit.
I am projecting 27-30 wins next season not because of the talent or coaching but because of health concerns. The roster is pissing me off always getting hurt, it’s ruining the sport for me.
If we are healthy I can see us winning 30-33 games for sure.
We will quickly learn Casey had a pretty bad roster and was not the right coach to squeeze any wins out of the roster specially with major players being out for so long.
Monty Williams will make the jump happen in the win column. We just have to stay healthy. Best I see us winning is no more than 34-37 wins and that’s really the best case scenario. I don’t see why not. These kids just need to stay healthy and grow up. One trade can change the whole outlook on the season once it happens. It hasn’t happened yet and it might not happen until the last day at the trade deadline.
Hell, I think most here(myself most definitely included) would be happy as hell to hit 30 wins. A 13 game improvement over last years debacle would be amazing. I think as Pistons fans, we need that kind of shot in the arm. Its been a minute since we've had real growth, and hope.
