I watched the Lions from the Barry Sanders years to the end of the Calvin Johnson years but gave it up when my daughter was born in 2016. Started watching again last season and the team is certainly more exciting than its been in a long time, even without a generational talent like Barry or Megatron.

This Lions team feels legit. Previous years just haven't felt authentic, our running game is going to win us games, Montgomery + this offensive line is gonna do some great things.

It would be amazing if the friggin same-ol-lions end up leading the Detroit sports renaissance
Hears to a great year!

Great win tonight! As in BB, the ugly win is sometimes a better gauge than the flashy blowout! Awesome gritty win!

Im giddy AF, just watched our linemen soundly outplay the defending Champions.
Really anxious to get Jameson available and add a legit field stretching threat to our arsenal.

glad the lions won, i'm tired of seeing the chiefs win. all cards on the table that might be the last time i hope the lions win though, being a vikings fan.

the lions and vikes play both their matchup games in week 16 and 18 so those might pretty much decide who win the division. it's gonna be a fun season!

EDIT: also, hutchinson is a beast.

I'm always amazed the Lions have actual fans with as poor of a professional sports franchise they have been.

To all the long suffering fans, hope this year, is your year.

I was so excited i went to Ford Field from hundreds of miles away to watch them. It was a great atmosphere, but now I'm 0-2 at Ford Field. Both times I watched an undefeated Lions team get their first loss. I ought to just keep watching on TV! Still think we win the NFC North this year.

I’m worried. Montgomery going down is huge. I’m really wanted jalen Carter or the raiders de they drafted in the 1st or a cb. Christian Gonzalez looking sweet. I love gibbs, just wanted defense, not sure he ever handles a full work load, that’s ok, but very high pick for him and now the top hb out, so a pick thst high should be able to take over the job but don’t see it going like that. It will be wild to stop Jameson gibbs amon and laporta if they ever all see the field together. Always wary with the lions, it sucks. Thought they could best chiefs when Kelce went down. Thought they might lose to Seattle was hoping they don’t, but when mont went down I was like ****, then Campbell doesn’t be aggressive and just goes for the fg when he’s always aggressive that sucked, but we will see. Think they probbaly get ran all over, but might be able to still win. Idk.

They do look good, but always cautious. If they win the next two maybe I’ll stop, hopefully. If Montgomery didn’t go down vs Seattle they probably win that tho.

Okay just found that reinstatement story.
This is fantastic, a bonafide field stretcher gonna make that offense hum even better!
