No Ivey starting again, silliness, bringing Ivey off the bench for defense, while starting the black hole on defense that is Alec Burks. I'd rather lose a few games with Ivey starting, that start Burks. I hope this is just some mind game Williams is playing with/on Ivey.

And its pretty interesting that its down in OKC for both those games. You've got to imagine that they are down there trying to get in a bunch of work/practice, but also trying to do some team building stuff and whatnot down there for a week away from the distractions of home. Hopefully its a good experience for the group overall. Also, after 7 straight days off hopefully its only Livers that is still injured and Duren/Cade/Bojan etc are all good to go.

I want to see Monte Morris playing for us. Hopefully he will claim the starting spot. Burks has been terrible.

Very weird. Only four games and I think the last two are back to back. But I'll take the positive and hope the guys are healthy. I want to see everyone (Livers will be out for til November).

“The feel with the ball, the touch, the passing. His (dribble-handoff) game is pretty advanced for a young player. He knows how to get off the DHO, drop the ball and still screen and that’s something it takes kids a few years to understand how to do that consistently. I’ve heard he was always big, so it befuddles me when you look at him and you see the guard skills. You’re like, ‘Where did he get that?’ He has the ability to get down in a guard-like position when he’s dribbling the ball. We’re going to try some things, give him the ball in the full court and let him go off of rebounds. Tell everybody, get out of there. Because he does have that ability.”

I'm not sold on Ausar's ball-handling at all so far. But other than that and shooting, he looks like a really nice piece. Great secondary passer, energetic rebounder, has flashed some brilliant defensive moments, and athletic enough to get points on offense even with limited shooting.

I think Ivey off the bench is fine and I think it's probably what happens to start the season. I think it'll be Duren, Stew, Bojan, Ausar, and Cade in the starting line up. Bojan + Ivey is just too bad defensively, and Bojan fits better with Cade on offense.
