Being put into a dedicated sixth man role is pretty far from being relegated to the dog house.

Sadly Ivey might not take a sixth man role and embrace it. If the team is losing (they probably will be) he definitely ain’t going to sit back and be that 6th man imo. Obviously I could be wrong and he does and that would be cool.

I see him sulk sometimes, or yell at teammates (a couple times just to Killian in one quarter, despite it being Ivey's fault) and not a team first guy. Ausar wouldn't start as a rookie and then have Ivey (who started last year) go to the bench.

He might be a good player, but fit is everything.

No it's not. He is a joke on defense and no matter how his offensive numbers look, he will continue to be a negative player untill he get his **** together on defense.

He is still very bad there, just watch the game and pay attention to him on the defense. He is probably our worst defender, and that's an accomplishment, considering we have Bagley and Wiseman who are absolutely clueless.

He also commits more careless wtf turnovers than anyone else on the team. Can't do both of those things if you want to start in this league.

That distinction actually belongs to Cade

Agree to disagree on that, but I'll agree that Cade has looked pretty far from sharp in the preseason. Huge hype train for Cade this offseason, but it's yet to leave the station. Lets hope the regular season is different.
