One thing is for sure: Sasser has played wayyyy too well not to remain in the rotation. And when morris returns, hayes has no business being in the rotation at this point.

What I'd like it to be:

Duren/Bagley
Bojan/Stewart
Ausar/Burks
Ivey/Sasser
Cade/Morris

What I think Monty will do:

Duren/Bagley
Stewart/Livers
Bojan/Burks
Ausar/Ivey
Cade/Morris

You definitely have the monty prediction correct imo. I like your starting lineup too and I agree with the second string so plus plus. I do think the top starting lineup would by abysmal on defense and turn the ball over a lot so it wouldn't work out. That's why monty will have to go with the bottom. The top is ideal but remember our center is 19 years old, Ausar is a rookie and Ivey Bogan have no defense. There's a reason we're losing and others aren't. We are very young! It's not an excuse, Weaver needs to balance the ship because it looks like we'll get another Top 5 pick next year, more rookies? Someone's gotta go.

Killian from the 3 this season: 32.3% Cade from the 3 this season: 32.8% Ausar from the 3 this season 16.7%

I don't see Hayes being completely out of the rotation any time soon.

Now the way he has spoken about Livers is what intrigues me. He may end up starting Livers at Bojans spot, which changes the rotation to a more normal one for Bagley;

Cade/Morris
Ausar/Hayes
Livers/Bojan
Stewart/Bagley
Duren/

But that leaves the team short a backup C, unless he goes small ball, or plays Wiseman, which i don't think he wants to.

The only thing I know for sure, is that;

Cade
Ausar

Stewart
Duren

Are going to be starting. Stewart has been exemplary on his role thus far, shooting. 429 from three, and playing solid defense. Ausar has been amazing in his role. He may start Bojan at the three when he and Livers returns, but may ease Livers into the starting lineup.

The team, as NY Elluded to is wonky, and needs trades to balance it out. NBA level players all over the place, but the fit is strange.

Cade/Morris
Ausar/Hayes
Livers/Burks
Stewart/Bojan
Duren/Bagley

That is my absolute best guess, based on what Monty likes.

Maybe you forgot, and I can't blame you because there's a lot of lineup clutter especially at guard, but there's no way Sasser is out of the rotation if/when everybody returns.

I have no idea what Monty will do with all these extra bodies but I do know that Sasser is here to stay.

Nope, your exactly correct. The team has so many guards, and Monty preaches defense, so I just left him off.(by accident)

:lol:

This team badly needs a consolidation trade.

This thread is pretty tough mostly because none of us have seen Morris play on the team. I do think some sort of trade feels pretty likely at some point.

Id roll with 4 youngsters and Bojan under the unrealistic scenario where these guys all became elgible to go.

Cade/Ivey
Sasser/Morris
Auser/Livers
Bojan/Bagley
Duren/Stewart

Killian, Harris, Wiseman, Knox, Burkes all would need an injury in front of them to get minutes.
I doubt Livers will run too long before he's back on the injured list so Burkes probably back in the 10 at that point.

Hopefully Livers surprises me but from the little I've seen of him I'm not impressed. My rotation;

Duren 30 Bagley 18
Bojan 24 Stew 24
Ausar 30 Burks 18
Cade 30 Ivey 18
Hayes 18 Morris 18 Ivey 12

Bojan will help so much being in the starting lineup in place of Stew.
Ivey can still get big minutes and be in with Cade to end the halves.

For me, Livers is a fine glue guy if you're playing with four other guys all capable on offense. Same thing can be said about a few of our players... you just can't have too many glue guy type players out there at once you need to ideally have two glue guy type players in the rotation one with the starters one with the bench unit.

Very true.
If he gets healthy and impresses, our future going forward lineup should be;

Duren/Stew
??/Stew
Ausur/Livers
Ivey/Sasser
Cade/Hayes

We need our future starting forward in a bad way
Even if we let Haues expire, it seems we have a gem in Sasser to back up Cade+Ivey
I still have no doubt Ivey will figure things out

It's crazy we truly are setup for the future with either massive cap space this upcoming summer to use in free agency or incoming trades. Or before the deadline this year to nake a move dangling Bojan Harris Burks Morris Hayes Wiseman. Those guys add up to $80million in expiring deals wowza
